Case Study
Higher driver approval rate
Identity verifications completed in 2025
Overview
Draiver runs an AI-powered platform for vehicle logistics. It moves vehicles across the Americas through a network of vetted, insured contract drivers, and it supplies drivers to rental companies that need to keep fleets full. Since 2013, the company has completed more than 1.7 million moves across five countries. Every driver has to prove who they are before they can work.
That check used to be manual. It tied up staff and slowed onboarding. Draiver added Vouched to verify drivers inside its own app. Onboarding now takes minutes, approval rates are up, and the team spends far less time reviewing documents by hand.

Challenge
Before Vouched, Draiver checked each driver’s identity by hand. Three team members spent about 70% of their time on the task. The manual review was slow and labor-intensive, creating a bottleneck in onboarding.
The manual process means people can create duplicate accounts to claim more trips. Draiver looked at building its own tool.
The team wanted an automated way to verify drivers, cut fraud, and give new drivers a smoother start.
Solution
Vouched runs as a white-label step inside the Draiver app, so the check feels native to every driver going through onboarding.
Draiver chose Vouched for a stable, well-established API it could build on as it moved into new markets, pricing that fit its budget, and a track record with other companies. Vouched returns a verification score that handles most decisions on its own. High scores approve automatically, low scores decline automatically, and staff step in only for the scores that fall in between.
The white-label flow makes verification feel native to every driver.
Result
Onboarding a new driver dropped from about 24 hours to minutes, which gets new drivers working sooner. The driver approval rate rose about 10%, because Vouched catches applicants who do not qualify before the background check.
In 2025, Draiver completed 29,671 verifications, an average of about 2,400 a month, with an 88.2% approval rate. Manual review fell from three full-time reviewers to occasional checks handled alongside other work.
Draiver now treats identity verification as part of what keeps its marketplace safe for the customers who trust it with their vehicles.
